Great! What an effort. I looks funktional and comfy. Is that a traditional pattern or is that your design?

man that is awesome looking, I have always wanted to make something like this but cannot figure out how it is made, the weave looks really stiff, but the leather does not. awesome job!

Is there any guide on how to make one of these?

This is awesome!
I have a question, is this a historically accurate design of viking leather armor? or is it that of your own design?

Have you tested any of these for puncture resistance or simply blunt punishment? Specially over time?
I am thinking against something like this, not necessarily it.…

I did but not much. The viking armor was purely designed for practical use. Easy to put on and wear. Not so much for maximum protection. It wil definitly protect you from cuts and smal blunt impact. But a full force blow not so much. You do need something sharp ended to realy perforate this. As for the argonian armor, it has a thick layer of felt underneath the leather wich abosrbs a lot of blunt trauma. With it i am able to make fals or rols hard surfaces withouthurting myself so you can say it actualy improves youre agillity. Leather is verry sturdy over time and wont be worned out quickly. The argonian armor is dificult to put on but easy to wear over time.

that is great work - it must have taken ages and it looks like all your holes for the lacing were incredibly evenly spaced making the weave effect look really good - Good job we say!

Nice piece of LARP gear, is this based off a historicaly accurate armor piece or is it mostly fantasy-based?

Really nice work! Was it hard to make? Considering making one myself. A tutorial would be great!
